'För samtida djur 2' is the second album of their double release at Majestic Mountain Records!

Kungens Män from Stockholm have been spreading their free rock message for over a decade now, signaling through space with outbursts of Aylerish saxophone and chiming and cutting Fender guitars to the pulse of Saturn powered drumming. Equally rooted in an organic mold of trees, grass and stones as well as an urban urge to desperately cut through the noise of subways, construction work and raging money hunger, Kungens Män are creating their own sonic soundworld and safe space with enough room for their own heartbeat. This journey has now reached the point where "För samtida djur 2" (For Contemporary Animals 2) will be released on Majestic Mountain Records. This is the second part of a double treat where the first one was shorter pieces of music, while this one includes four longer instant compositions that are allowed to spread like nebulas in the imaginary landscape.


The lead single and video, "Dåderman renoverar" (Dåderman Renovates), is an edited version of the first track on the album. Originally 15 minutes, the single has been cut to around 5 minutes. You need to go to the moon before you head for Venus. It is accompanied by a video by the same partner in genius who made the video for part one, Patrik Instedt, diving headfirst into the challenges of building things out of nothing, of using the wrong tools the right way.




These twin albums also mark the band’s first cooperation with a Swedish
label, Majestic Mountain Records. A label built on love for the music
and a supplier of high-quality vinyl with an emphasis on psych, doom, and
stoner, the label has asked about the possibility of releasing Kungens
Män for several years. And now the time is right!"
